Save A Life Campaign 2009
'Save A Life' is a road safety campaign aimed at reducing casualties on Suffolk's roads. The campaign follows a successful promotion during 2008. The theme for 2009 will be INATTENTION.
Accident Analysis
Analysis has revealed that there are four factors which have particularly contributed to road casualties in the county.
· Inappropriate speed.
· Not wearing a seat belt.
· Use of mobile phone while driving.
· Drinking and driving.
In addition, two types of road user appear to be especially vulnerable: motorcyclists and young drivers.
The campaign will focus on these issues during the coming year.
