FOR COURSE REGISTRATION

National Driver Improvement Scheme

Driver improvementThis scheme is for "Due care and attention" offenders as an alternative to prosecution through the courts. It is a national course which runs throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.   The course runs for 1½ days with a theory session and two practical "on road" sessions for two drivers supervised by an Approved Driving Instructor in the instructors vehicle.

The theory session guides participants through driving theory and crash analysis amongst other things. The practical part of the course concentrates on fault finding, correction and learning to read the road in a better and more systematic way. Our instructors are all highly qualified over and above their ordinary ADI qualification and they use the Police Drivers handbook "Roadcraft" as the basis for their training sessions.

Client feedback is extremely positive with many expressing great satisfaction with both the course and the outcomes for their driving. Very few go away without receiving some benefit from a course. Those who fail to take part can be asked to leave and are returned to the legal system. Refunds are not normally provided.
