Road Casualties in Suffolk 2007

•  An average of 8 people were injured on Suffolk's roads each day
•  An average of 25 killed or seriously injured casualties were recorded each month
•  Of the 23 driver of passenger fatalities over 50% were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash
•  The proportion of killed or seriously injured casualties recorded as a result of speeding was 31%

•  Don't drink or drug drive
•  Observe speed limits
•  Wear a seat belt
•  Switch off mobile phones
•  Stay aware and alert
•  Keep your vehicle roadworthy
