We Mean Business
Up to 1 in 3 road crashes involves a vehicle being driven for work!
The campaign targets people driving for work on the trunk road network in Suffolk and their employers and business partners. The aim is to reduce the number of road collisions on the trunk road network which occur as part of a work-related journey.
We offer assistance to help employers and employees:
Understand relevant health & safety legislation and road traffic law (if you employ 5 or more people, then you must have a written road safety policy)
Understand what constitutes a work related road safety policy
Undertake road safety based risk assessments
Provide driver profiling and training
Implement work-related road safety policies
Organise business to business communication on 'Work Related Road Safety', especially amongst those which rely on HGV movements
Workshops
During 2010/11 we will be offering practical workshops to provide you with the knowledge to get started writing your own work related road safety policy. Our team of road safety experts provide an excellent follow-up service, including:
• providing free templates to help you start your own work related road safety policy
