We Mean Business

Up to 1 in 3 road crashes involves a vehicle being driven for work!

The campaign targets people driving for work on the trunk road network in Suffolk and their employers and business partners. The aim is to reduce the number of road collisions on the trunk road network which occur as part of a work-related journey.

We offer FREE assistance to help employers and employees:

•  Understand relevant health & safety legislation and road traffic law (if you employ 5 or more people, then you must have a written road safety policy)
•  Understand what constitutes a work related road safety policy
•  Undertake road safety based risk assessments
•  Provide driver profiling and training
•  Implement work-related road safety policies
•  Organise business to business communication on 'Work Related Road Safety', especially amongst those which rely on HGV movements

Seminars
During 2009/10 we will be offering free, local seminars. Our team of road safety experts will be available for you to discuss your work related road safety needs and assist with the creation of work related road safety policies.

Policies that are returned to us after the seminars for evaluation and which meet a certain standard, will be offered "We Mean Business" certification for the company, to highlight the company's investment in road safety.
