    Get in Gear is a course being offered by Suffolk County Council for young drivers aged between 17 and 19.  The course aims to give newly qualified drivers the skills to cope with driving independently and to reduce the chances of being involved in a crash.

    Suffolkroadsafe has teamed up with Driving for Better Business to offer a half day workshop to local businesses, to help them manage work related road safety.  If your business needs cars and vans to operate, we will show you how managing your fleet well can increase your profits. Everyone attending the workshop will receive a free pack of resources, and access to online risk assessments.

  • Group Riding and Drivers: Sharing the Road

    As more and more people take up cycling for sport, for fun, and for health, there has been an explosion in the numbers of riders who join a club and take part in group rides.  Riders need to ensure that they stay safe and follow the highway code; drivers need to be aware of what cyclists are doing, and know how to deal with them. Everyone needs to ensure they work together to stay safe and to share the road harmoniously.
