Find a suitable notice board in your school, if possible in an area that can be seen by parents visiting the school as well as other pupils.
Your area Road Safety Officer will be happy to advise you on getting your board started for the first time when they call. If you want to make a start yourself, ask your Teaching Assistant or Teacher to help with a nice colourful background and border for your board. Give it a clear heading like the one right, which you can decorate or colour in.
You can now add posters, (If you need to see the Hedgehog site on 'Links') and add any of your own artwork with a road safety theme. It would be good to display the name of all the JRSO's and maybe make yourself a weekly message board by printing one and getting it laminated.
It's your board!, so use it well and make it as attractive as you can. Change it from time to time to keep everyone interested in it. You can give it a new look for each season if you want to by printing the pages below, but it's also great when you use your own ideas too!
