Before you get going...

Speak to your Teaching Assistant or Teacher, and decide:

• A theme for example, keeping safe when you cross the road, keeping safe on your bike, 'be safe, be seen'...
  
• What type of competition you want to do, for example a poster, wordsearch, acrostic, poem, quiz or anything else you can think of
  
• Decide on a closing date for the competition
  
• Announce your competition in assembly and on your noticeboard
  
• If you need prizes, contact your area road safety officer
